One important thing i learned in chapter one was how geography in Washington was formed, such as the scablands. This information stuck out to me becuase I think it is really interesting how such huge things like Mega Flood ever even happened because it just seems so impossible.
An inportant thing I learned in Chapter two was how the environments of each section(Olympic Mtns, Cascade Mtns, Columbia Basin, Okanogan Highlands, ect) of Washington has so many different animals. Like the Puget Lowlands have a lot of sea animals while the Forest lands have all land animals like eagles, and bears.
Finally in chapter the biggest most important thing I learned was the differences and similaritys between th coastl and platuea native americans. Like the Coatal indians main diet was salmon, and plateua indians main diet was buffalo. But a similarity is that they both used cedar for baskets, houses, and even clothing.
